Former Bolshoi Ballet soloist and choreographer Victor Smirnov-Golovanov founded Moscow City Ballet in 1988.   This exquisite company has become one of Russia’s most successful touring companies throughout the world.  They regularly play shows in Poland and Belgium as part of their European touring schedule.   Today, fresh as the day the company was formed, MCB is brimming with some of Moscow's best young dancers, outstanding principals, stunning soloists and a sublime corps de ballet, all underpinned by the dynamic vitality of a live orchestra.

St Petersburg Ballet Theatre

Following a successful European  tour with Irina Kolesnikova celebrating her 10th anniversary on stage with St Petersburg Ballet Theatre including a debut at the London Coliseum and a return to Paris Theatre Champs Elysees, the company made a 4-week tour in January 2011 to perform  for their adoring audiences. The tour visited Birmingham Nottingham Norwich and Eastbourne, then the company headed off to Europe to play  in Paris 15 16 17 January 2011 and a tour of French cities and towns.
